Why Buy from Amazon UK

The UK Amazon is the second-largest e-commerce site in Europe after Germany. The selection is wider than Russian Ozon, but prices for electronics and branded goods are often lower than in Europe.

The difference is especially noticeable for books, appliances, kitchen tools, garden equipment, and specialized sports equipment. British brands like Sage, Dyson, and Joseph Joseph are cheaper here than on amazon.de or in Russian retail chains.

What You Need to Buy

At a minimum, you need a UK postal address. With TopParcel, you get one when you register, within five minutes. The address works as your personal collection point in Ipswich.

Next, you need a card that Amazon UK accepts. Russian Visa and Mastercard cards haven't worked since 2022. Options:

1. A card from a Kazakh, Georgian, Armenian, or Turkish bank with international activation. 2. A Wise or Revolut card, if you have a non-resident account. 3. PayPal in your name, linked to a working card. Amazon UK accepts PayPal without issue.

Step-by-Step Process

Register for an account at topparcel.com. After registering, your personal UK address will appear in your dashboard — copy it completely, including the box number.

Create an account on amazon.co.uk. In the "Your addresses" section, add the UK address you received. Provide a UK phone number — use ours, or use a virtual one.

Find the item. Before ordering, check that the seller ships to the specified address. Most Amazon Prime items ship free within the UK.

Pay. The delivery address is your address at our warehouse. When the item arrives, we get a notification and send you an email.

A Prime subscription costs £8.99 per month and gives you free next-day or same-day delivery for most items. If you plan to make several orders per month, the subscription pays for itself.

Keep in mind: Prime movies and Prime audiobooks are tied to the account's location. If Amazon sees you're accessing the catalog from Russia, some content will appear blocked. This is a separate issue and is resolved through correct account settings.

Which Categories Cannot Be Forwarded

Liquids larger than 0.5L — for example, a bucket of emulsion or a large bottle of perfume — won't be accepted by any air carrier. Lithium-ion batteries separate from the device are also prohibited.
